Here are a few tips

Keep homeowners insurance
Have an emergency bag packed w/ water

If you live in an area where tornadoes frequent

Have an emergency bag packed with water, non-perishable food, a flashlight, any needed medications, and other necessities.
Have a cellar
Stay aware of weather conditions

If one lands: Seek shelter or a sturdy building if you’re not home.

Most importantly know the difference between warning and watch.

A tornado watch means a tornado is possible

A tornado warning means a tornado is occurring or will occur soon so GET TO SAFETY.
